Events and Activities : Block Party at Hummel Park Thursday night

Vinton Unlimited Block Party!

Tonight Thursday, June 13th

5-8pm at Hummel Park (at intersection of 2nd Avenue and 5th Street, across the street from McDowell's).

Some seating will be provided, but it might behoove you to bring a lawn chair just in case!

Come out and join Vinton Unlimited as we celebrate and highlight our local businesses throughout the community! Last year we were able to host 3 different Block Parties throughout the community and this year we're doing more of the same! Check out details below!

What a summer (if you can call it that with the weather we've been having lately!). There has already been a lot going on in the community and there is much more to come as the days go by. The next thing on our radar is the Vinton Unlimited Block Party taking place this Thursday from 5-8pm at Hummel Park (across the street from McDowell's). This is going to be a great family-friendly event where you can grab a little something to eat for just $1 per ticket, play some games, listen to music and talk with some business owners in that part of town!

The point of these Block Parties is to showcase Vinton Unlimited businesses throughout the community. We look to highlight the products and services that are available in Vinton and make sure you know all of the great things you can find right here in town that maybe you didn't know is available locally. We invite everyone to join us for the fun as this is a great family-friendly event that we're sure your whole family will love. We'll be highlighting the businesses listed below and, since it is a Thursday night, after you grab something to eat and play some games, we encourage you to stop in the stores as most of them will be open until 8pm! There you will get a firsthand look of the great things available just down the street!

By the way, our Block Party last from 5-8pm...Farmers Market is also taking place on Thursday night from 5-7pm at the Vinton Depot. Feel free to stop by the Farmers Market and grab some fresh produce or baked goods and then bring the family down to play some games and listen to some great music! It's Dairy Night so bring your Cow Milking gloves!
