Events and Activities : Party in Park starts tonight with free supper at FSB, Kiddie Parade

After months of planning and many donations of time, effort and money by many in the Vinton area, the annual Party in the Park celebration begins tonight.

First the Farmers Savings Bank Community Appreciation Dinner takes place at 5 p.m. outside the bank. Free hot dogs, pop and chips will be served.

The Kiddie Parade begins at 6:30 p.m., leaving the Farmers parking lot for the courthouse. A variety of games and activities will be available for children there. At the end of the evening the Schmidt Family Band will perform.

All events are free and open to the public.
