A Choral Night" will be presented on Monday, May 13 at 7:00 in the middle school gymnasium. All middle school and high school choirs will be performing. High School senior recognition and awards will also take place.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Floor seating and bleacher seating will be available for the audience. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students. Student activity passes, senior citizen passes and Fine Arts Century Club passes will all be honored.

Under the direction of Lois Martin, an entertaining variety of songs will be presented to showcase the accomplishments of each group from the middle school. Selections will include familiar songs “I Love a Piano”, “Fireflies”, “The Syncopated Clock”, “My Favorite Things”, world songs “Kusimama” (Stand Tall), “Aya Ngena”, “Oye la Musica” (Hear the Music), and a variety of standard and newly composed choral literature.

The high school ensembles under the direction of Eric Mohlis will perform contest literature from throughout the year including "The Poet Sings", "The Sounding Sea", "The Old Church" and will close with "Oread's Farewell".

We are proud of the students’ achievements and look forward to a wonderful evening of song. Accompanying the groups on piano will be local favorites Lori Ferguson and April Ahrenholz. Student instrumentalists will also be accompanying some of the selections.
