Events and Activities : Diabetes group to hear discussion on importance of insulin

Virginia Gay Hospital’s Diabetes Support Group will meet Tuesday, November 27th at 4:30pm in the Cafeteria Brd Rm. Guest speaker will be A1c Champion Norma Cannon. Sanofi’s A1c Champion Program provides a patient-led approach to diabetes education. Cannon will speak on why taking insulin is not a sign of personal failure, but a life-saving option to treat high blood sugars. She addresses concerns and misperceptions. RSVP to 319-472-6193.
