I typically have a rule that I don't promote Christmas activites in full force until after Thanksgiving has run it's course, however, I'm going to make an exception for a couple of very special events coming up faster than it seems. Check out the information below and please, feel free to take part in whatever way you choose! Like it or not, Christmas is coming up quickly and we have a lot to do before it gets here...so let's get planning!
Lighted Holiday Parade
Once again, the lighted holiday parade will take place throughout Vinton. Get your floats decorated and strung with Christmas lights, and get ready to show off your creativity on Thursday, November 15th.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to enter a float in the parade and the more the merrier! We'd love to have participation from every organization and business in Vinton, so start the conversation and come up with your ideas for a great parade float!
Lion's Club Chili Supper
Join the VInton Lion's Club for a Chili Supper at the Vinton Fire Station the same night as the Lighted Parade! Make a night of it and support the Honor Flight with a Free Will donation during the Lion's Annual Chili Supper. Chili will be served from 4:30 - 7:30pm with a goal of raising $2000 for the Honor Flight!
Thanks to the Vinton Fire Department for allowing the Lions Club to use their facilities. Remember: Voluteers aren't Free...
They're Priceless!
Christmas Open House
Kicking off the Christmas Shopping is a tradition for Vinton merchants during our Christmas Open House which will be held

Bring the whole family for music in the streets and live Llamas in front of the US Bank Building.
As you can see, there is a A LOT of fun taking place in Vinton and it is coming up fast! Join us for the excitment and make sure you remember to check out your local merchants for great deals & everything you need this Christmas season!
