Events and Activities : Blood drive set for Friday in Vinton

In an effort to support the fight against cancer, LifeServe Blood Center will honor National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by offering a special Cancer Awareness promotion through the month of October.

Cancer patients are the number one recipients of blood and blood products and can use up to eight units of blood a month. Blood donors can help save the lives of up to three people, including cancer patients, simply by donating one unit of blood. We are asking donors to join the fight and register to donateblood today!

Donors who schedule an appointment at a donor center or mobile blood drive during the month of October are eligible to participate in this special promotion. Donors will receive 100 points that can be redeemed in the LifeServe Online Store for the Cancer Awareness t-shirt!
