Events and Activities : River clean-up to take place this Saturday

Friends of the Cedar River R.A.T.S. will gather at the river this Saturday, Oct. 6, to walk or paddle the river, cleaning up the sandbars.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Wyman's River Park area just off the Mount Auburn Blacktop at 10 a.m. Saturday. Bags and gloves will be provided; volunteers should wear boots and long-sleeved clothing. The DNR is working with the group to allow the use of ATVs for clean-up chores but not recreation, and the vehicles are not allowed in the Dudgeon area. See more information HERE.
