For more than nine years, Tina (Dolley) Reifenstahl has been fighting a very aggressive and rare form of breast cancer called HER2NUE. The cancer had progressed to the lymph nodes in her arm and neck and recently began attacking her brain. Despite two regimens of radiation, the cancer in her brain continues to grow and spread; in January of this year, doctors told Tina and

her husband Dan that they had exhausted all options and Tina was given six months to live. Over the last several years, and still today, the medical bills and expenses continue to mount as Tina grows weaker due to her deteriorating health. Friends have organized a benefit supper for the Reifenstahl family next Saturday, May 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Vinton American Legion Hall. The event includes a silent auction and raffles.
