Vinton Unlimited, the combined chamber of commerce & economic development group for the Vinton community will be holding their annual meeting on Friday, April 13th beginning at 6:00 pm. During the meeting, the Board of Directors along with Executive Director, Nathan Hesson, will present a recap of some of the accomplishments over the course of 2011 and look forward to a few of the exciting opportunities coming up in 2012

Following the business meeting portion of the evening, Vinton Unlimited will have the opportunity to welcome 1977, Vinton-Shellsburg graduate Kris Gulick as the key note speaker. Kris is a CPA, and President of Entrepreneurial Services Group located in Cedar Rapids. He is a general business advisor to small and medium sized organizations and provides financial and operational assistance to clients through forecasts and projections, accounting system reviews, personnel selections, cost accounting analysis, budgeting assistance, risk management and cash management. Kris is very involved in the Cedar Rapids business community as a city council member and President of the Iowa League of Cities, to name just a few.

Vinton Unlimited looks forward to welcoming Kris as the key note speaker and invites the Vinton Unlimited members along with the Vinton community to hear about the exciting things happening throughout the area. The meeting will take place in the auditorium of the Iowa Braille & Sight Saving School just inside the front entrance of Old Main. A social time with light refreshments will begin at 5:30 pm with the business meeting beginning at 6:00 pm. Kris will begin speaking around 6:30 and the evening will conclude by 7:30 pm.
