Events and Activities : Brandon baked potato bar to raise funds for roof projects in poor countries

Area residents who want to help create better housing for people in poor countries can do so by eating baked potatoes in Brandon on April 22. The Brandon United Methodist Church plans an event at 12:15 p.m. that Sunday.

$200 = two roof tarps

$500 = Enables volunteers to help rebuild a home

$2,000 = will buy the materials for a new roof
