On Saturday, March 31, Girl Scouts in the Wagon Trail Service Unit (Vinton-Shellsburg), will celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting at Blessed Hope Church from 1-4 p.m. with hands-on activities exploring the various facets of our founder Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low .

Any former Girl Scouts or girls/adults interested in what Girl Scouts have to offer are welcome to attend, "It All Began with a Daisy . . ." The girls will be concentrating on heritage badge activities, then & now, including First Aid, Drawing, Songs, Games, Plants and making our own snacks. Charge is $2 for girls, adults and Program Aides are free. Hope to see you there!!! There will be a follow-up collaborative activity with FlyIowa at the Vinton Airport on May 5 concentrating on Aviation.
