Everyone is welcome to come out on Sunday March 4th at 2:00 p.m. to the Belle Plaine Area Museum to learn about the newly acquired Beautiful Plaines Park and the native trees and prairie plants that will be planted there this year! Come hear about the history of the project, the timeline for developing the park and what to expect over time, while learning about the namesake of the community of Belle Plaine; the prairie.

This informational and educational workshop is brought to you free of charge by the partnership of the Belle Plaine Historical Society, Belle Plaine Partners for Beautification, Benton County IRVM Committee, Benton County Conservation, Benton County ISU Extension and Outreach and Trees Forever.

We’ll be looking forward to seeing you there!
