Events and Activities : Iowa DNR to host hunter education at Izaak Walton

The Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources will be hosting a hunter education course at the Izaak Walton League north of Vinton. The course will be two days beginning on Saturday September 17th and ending on Sunday September 18th. Students 11 years of age and older are allowed to attend the classes. Students should go the www.iowadnr.gov/training to locate the class online and register for the course. Anyone born after January 1, 1972 must successfully complete and pass a DNR hunter education course in order to purchase a hunting license in Iowa.
