Join us at the Depot to hear the words and experiences of five who lived through the Revolution. You'll hear about the experiences of Abraham Clark, John Hart, Abigail Adams, Thomas Paine, and Jeffrey Brace.
Dave Baker will give first person accounts of their lives and give a first person performance. An Iowa writer and blogger of "The 29th State," he will share a one hour program about how the Revolution began, why Independence was declared, and what it meant to those who lived it. He will tell the perspective from a signer and statesman to a writer, a woman and a man who fought for freedom while enslaved.
