Join Maverick and friends for Tori's Angels Fundraiser on September 7, 2025. From 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church located at 1206 C Ave.in Vinton, you can bring the kids and enjoy lunch and some fun for the kids!

Events include:

Lunch - free will offering.

A mini carnival for the kids with games and a Bounce House for the kids - $5.00 unlimited play

Silent Auction with over 25 items for auction - last bid by 2:30

Dunk Tank - $1.00 per ball

Face Painting - free will offering

Maverick's Challenges have included over the years:

*Double lazy eye, nearsighted and CVI

*Hirschbrung's disease/ileostomy

*Short Gut/ TPN dependent (IV nutrition)

*Cardiac - Tetralogy of Fallot with 1 heart surgery and at least 2 more due to growth.

*Prone to future seizures

*GJ tube dependent

*Renal Abnormalities

*Mowat's Wilson Syndrome

*Non Verbal

*Wheelchair dependent

Tori's Angels Foundation has helped with many expensive provisions for Maverick's care and they pay for a life-saving treatment that keeps Maverick's central line clean from bacterial infection. This treatment is not covered by insurance and is a treatment not affordable to the average family.

*Tori's Angels is a non-profit foundation helping kids across Iowa with life-threatening medical challenges.

The Foundation pays for medical expenses not covered by insurance, including travel, hotel stays, meals, prescription meds and other expenses.
