Join us for a free tour of three Eastern Iowa Carnegie Libraries!

We will depart from the Vinton Public Library on Thursday, September 25th at 9:00 am and will visit Carnegie Libraries in Monticello, Dubuque and Manchester. Dr. Shana Stuart with the Carnegie Libraries in Iowa Project will provide fascinating details about the history of these libraries and the legacy of Andrew Carnegie.

We will return to the library by 6:00 pm. Bring your own lunch, or purchase a $15 add-on boxed lunch during the registration process.

Get your free tickets today by visiting VintonsCarnegieBusTour1.eventbrite.com.

This event is part of Vinton's Big Read, a community-wide celebration of the arts and humanities.

Vinton's Big Read is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Midwest, The Charles and Helen Yundt Charitable Foundation, and the Friends of the Vinton Public Library in memory of George and Pauline Grovert.
