Events and Activities : Annual Benefit Ride for VSU United Special Olympics-Saturday, August 17th 2024

Mark your calendars for our Annual Benefit Ride for our local Vinton Shellsburg United Special Olympics Team! All PROCEEDS REMAIN WITH OUR LOCAL VSU TEAM!!!
Don't have a Motorcycle, No Problem. All vehicles are welcome, get those Hot Rods out and join us (or the family mini van).
Rain or Shine this ride goes on! $15 per person or $25 per couple
Registration is at 10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m, at Ron-Da-voo Deli and Lounge, 414 1st Ave Vinton IA*Kick Stands up at 11:00 a.m.The ride will be a 135 mile Route leaving from Vinton. The route is as follows:
Ron-Da-Voo (Vinton) Wolfey's Wapsi Out-back (Quasqueton)Lunch Stop @ MJ's Dawghouse (Center Point)Jones County Local (Anamosa) Whiskey River Grill ( Palo)Pearl Street Social Club (Shellsburg)Final stop - Vinton American Legion (105 North R Ave Vinton) at 5:30pmFood will be provided at the Final Stop at the American Legion along with 50/50 poker hand, Dollar Raffle prizes and a Live Auction.Grand Prize Raffle Tickets will be Available for $5 each or 5 for $20 for a chance to win $1500 Cash.All money raised goes strictly to our team for equipment, transportation, lodging, uniforms, food and drinks. We currently provide. Bowling, Basketball and Track and field.
