Events and Activities : Dysart to Celebrate ZIP Code Day!

Dysart would like to invite you to Celebrate ZIP Code Day on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm. The event will be held at the Dysart City Park located at Sherman & South Main Street in Dysart.

A once-in-a-century event is unfolding in Dysart, Iowa on Wednesday. It's the day when the calendar date, 5/22/24 corresponds with the city's ZIP Code - 52224. The celebration will take place May 22 from 4pm to 8pm at Dysart City Park and includes food, festivities and fun. Restaurants and businesses on Main Street are also participating. The U.S. Postal Service will also join in the celebration. The Dysart Post Office will offer a cancellation stamp on historical postcards during normal business hours. A special t-shirt will also be available for purchase at select stores in Downtown Dysart and in the park that evening.
