Sunday, June 2nd, 2024-SAVE THE DATE!! That is the date for the Benton Conty Relay For Life beginning at 6:00 PM at the Benton Community MS/HS track in Van Horne. Everyone of us has been touched by cancer in some way. Friends, relatives, caregivers, survivors - we all use our special passion to help the American Cancer Society save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

It is the time of year to come together and cheer on the survivors in our community. It is time to thank the caregivers who support our loved ones. It is the time to remember and honor those we have lost to cancer. And it is time to lend our voices to the rallying cry to stop cancer in its tracks. Quite simply: it is time for Relay For Life! At Relay For Life no donation is too small; each and every dollar counts! Your donations help fund groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs, and can make a difference in communities like ours. With every donation, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives!

The Benton County Relay For Life will be held Sunday, June 2nd at the Benton Community High School track in Van Horne from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Please consider attending again this year if you have ever attended before. Please consider attending this year if you have never attended a relay. Another way to support Relay is to purchase luminaria-each one represents a life and shines in remembrance, hope, or triumph. Luminaria can be purchased at the Relay on June 2nd, or luminaria can be purchased ahead of the relay by contacting Ev Wiebke at (319)228-8974. Cancer survivors are encouraged to sign in at Relay by 5:30 PM to receive a free T-shirt and to be honored during the Survivors' Ceremony and lap at 7:00 PM.

The 2024 Benton County Relay For Life needs everyone! Please join in and attend the Benton County Relay For Life on Sunday, June 2nd beginning at 6:00 PM at the Benton Community High School track in Van Horne.
