Events and Activities : FREE Pressure Canner Gauge Testing, Tuesday, August 8

Planning to preserve your garden harvest? It's important to check your pressure canner gauge each year to ensure accuracy. Every pound of pressure is important in reaching the temperature needed inside the canner for producing safe food.

Benton County ISU Extension and Outreach offers a FREE service to test your pressure canner and ensure it's working properly. Pressure canner gauge testing will be held on August 8th, 9-11am at our Vinton office. You may also drop off before 11am to pick up later.
