The Center Point Historical Society will host "Swing and Sway: 170 Years of Railroading in Iowa" on Sunday, August 13, at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum, 700 E. Washington St.

This free talk will be presented by Marion historian David Wendell. Those in attendance will see model trains and historic railroad photos.

The program is part of the Historical Society's "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" 2023 displays. The Depot Museum is open, free, Sunday afternoons from 2-5:00 p.m. through the end of October.
