Events and Activities : Newhall Fire Department Holding its first Food Drive

.As the Holidays are approaching, the Newhall Fire Department is hosting its first annual food drive. As we know, the holidays can be a difficult time of the year. The goal is to provide food to families/persons in the community who are in need through the Christmas season.

This is a great way to give to your community and help those who are less fortunate. If you are able to make a donation of food or money it would be greatly appreciated. If not please help spread the word to your friends, families, coworkers, neighbors, etc.A freezer/refrigerator will be provided to hold items that need kept cold. If no one is at the department, please leave food items outside the west door as it is monitored frequently. For any monetary donations please reach out to us and we will meet you in person. Checks can be made out to Newhall Fire Department Foundation.If you are able to donate but unable to drop it off, arrangements can be made for pick up.We would like to have all donations received by Friday, December 9th to make it possible to open the food pantry to the community Monday, December 12th through Friday, December 23rd.For any questions please send us a message, call or text 319-560-5681.
