Events and Activities : CP LIBRARY FRIENDS SAYS: NO MITTEN KNITTIN’ PLEASE

For this November and December Friends of the Center Point Library is changing up the holiday giving tree at the Library. Since hats and mittens are a current glut on the donation market, Friends is putting up a Stuff the Stocking tree instead, for the donation of personal care items for stocking the HACAP food pantry at the Library.

This change, however, is no excuse for idle hands. Knitters and crocheters are invited to make hot pads, scrubbers and washcloths. Friends will collect them for donation to the CPU Primary school to include in the holiday food baskets it distributes.
