Something all gardeners have, besides dirty fingernails, is a constant hunger for more gardening information. Center Point Friends of the Library will feed the need by sponsoring the Linn County Master Gardener talks every Thursday in September.

The Master Gardener Talks will be held every Thursday in September at the Library, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

September 1 - "Choosing True Lilies for your Garden" by Wanda Lunn.

September 8 - "Micro Prairie Gardening" by Linda Hinzman. '

September 15 - "Fall Garden Clean-up" by Karie Pohl.

September 22 - "Ash Tree Alternatives" by Mike Anderson which will help us think past Emerald Ash Borer and derecho devastation.

September 29 - "Creating Permaculture" by Sylvia Street, how to promote healthy soil for growing healthy food.
