Events and Activities : Center Point Historical Society Log Cabin Festival August 28

On Sunday, August. 28, from 2-4 p.m. the Center Point Historical Society will hold their annual Log Cabin Festival at the Deport Museum and Strait Log Cabin, located at 700 E. Washington, Center Point.

This year the presentation will be featuring "The Underground Railroad" with Jenny Barnett from the African American Museum of Iowa at 2 p.m.

There will also be a Quilt display and 1850s log cabin tour.

The event is free.
