Events and Activities : 2022 BENTON COUNTY RELAY FOR LIFE NEEDS YOU!

In 2021, nearly 1.9 million people in the United States got a new cancer diagnosis. That's 1.9 million reasons why your local Relay For Life participation this year truly matters. The Relay For Life movement is one of the world's largest fundraising events to help save lives from cancer and when you join, you are helping fund the future. Why will you choose to fight this year?

** So everyone has a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer

** To stand with people in your community living with cancer

The Benton County Relay For Life will be held Sunday, June 5th at the Benton Community High School track from 6:00 PM through 10:00 PM. Please consider attending this year in person. Another way to support the Relay is to enter the Quilt Fundraiser. The beautiful quilt for raffle is on display at the Cornerstone Apothecary in Van Horne. Chances are $5 each and can be purchased at Cornerstone and from any Relay For Life committee members. The drawing will be held at the Relay on June 5th at 8:00 PM. Another way to support Relay is to purchase luminaria to memorialize those lost to cancer, to honor those who are battling cancer, and to celebrate those who have defeated cancer. Please see the form included with this article; luminaria can also be purchased at the Relay on June 5th. Cancer survivors are encouraged to sign in at Relay by 6:30 PM to receive a free T-shirt and to be honored during the Survivors' Ceremony at 7:00 PM.
