Events and Activities : FREE LOVE AT THE LIBRARY IN CENTER POINT

Did we get your attention? Hope so 'cause a little love, freely given, is something everybody could use right now.

And Friends of the Center Point Library is offering it with "Love at the Library," a free Valentine's concert by The Laid Back Band, Thursday night, February 10, from 6 to 8 in the Library community room.

Wear your heart on your sleeve and your dancing shoes; bring your kids and your granny; and come listen/dance to classic love songs like "The Way You Look Tonight," "Stand by Me," "Can't Buy Me Love," and, who knows, maybe some 21st century stuff, too.

Laid Back Band guitarist is local star Jess Eldred Toomsen, who was once Friends of the Library treasurer before she hit the big time.
