Benton County Conservation will be holding their annual ice fishing tournament beginning at 7:30 a.m. and running until 1:00 p.m., at Hannan Lake Park. The park is located at 1949 Benton-Iowa Road, Blairstown.
Those competing can begin arriving at the park at 7:00 a.m. Use the boat ramp and shop area for drop off only, but you are welcome to park in the beach parking lot.
Registration for the tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. Fishing and auguring starts at 8:30 a.m. You must have a current fishing license. Children under 16 can fish free.
There will be a cash raffle for the following prizes:

-8" K Drill
-50/50 and more!
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Longest Bluegill, Crappie, and Bass
1st Place for 16 and older will receive a cash prize
Prizes for 15 and under
The VFW Post 8884 will have food and beverages available for sale.

Should there be unfavorable weather conditions, the tournament will be rescheduled for February 19th.
