Spooktacular Saturday, October 30

Head downtown for pumpkin decorating, games, and the traditional costume parade for all of the kids to the downtown businesses. There will be a carnival beginning at 10:00 a.m. and a parade at 11:00 a.m.

Anyone who wears a Halloween costume (more than just a mask) will get a $1 skate admission and will be entered in the Halloween costume contest! And if you think putting is tough during the daytime, just think how hard it will be in the dark with ghosts & goblins in the mix!
GRADES: all

FEE: skate-$5.00/skater ($1.00 off if wearing a costume)
Mini golf-$2.00/round

Sunday, October 31

Trunk or Treat Block Party

Blessed Hope Church will hold a Trunk or Treat block party - this year at a new location!
On October 31 from 3-5:00 p.m., decorated cars will be lined up on 1st Ave in front of the Revolution Building (block between 4th & 5th St.) and ready for your family to safely trick or treat before the town-wide trick or treating. Bounce house & activities for the kids inside the building. We've also got dinner covered - we'll be serving free hot dogs, chips, & bottled water.

Halloween kids costume parade

October 31st, 4-5:00 p.m.

Windsor Manor in Vinton invites you to our Halloween parking lot costume parade. The First 200 "monsters" will receive a goodie bag. Windsor Manor is located at 1807 W 5th St, Vinton

Citywide Trick or Treating 5-7:00 p.m.

Wesley United Methodist Church

Come join us for some fun costumes and candy at Wesley Church! 5-7 PM we will be lined up outside of the church. See you there!


NOT Happenings this year:

Virginia Gay Hospital's Nursing and Rehab are sorry to have to refrain from hosting the children this year due to the continuation of the pandemic.
