Events and Activities : Shellsburg Area Community Group Fund Raiser

The Shellsburg Area Community Group (SACG) is having its annual fundraiser this Saturday, June 19th, at Wildcat Golf Course and it's an important opportunity for the group to raise money for community projects. This non-profit group has invested over $80,000 in community projects and services since forming in 2011, including several that benefited the school.

If you're a golfer, we've got space for just a few more teams. Call Wildcat Golf Course at 436-4653 to register a team for the 4 person best shot. The $50 fee per golfer is for 18 holes of golf, cart, a meal following and cash prizes for winning teams. Not a golfer? You can still support the group by coming to the clubhouse anytime between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm to bid on silent auction prizes or buy tickets for a new event - a "ball drop" which will be a 50/50 split between the winner and the organization.

And if you're busy that day, but would still like to support the group's efforts, feel free to make a donation by sending a check to PO Box #71, Shellsburg, IA 52332. The group maintains its status as a 501( c) 3 non-profit group so your donation is tax-deductible. SACG members appreciate the support we've received in the past and look forward to continuing our service to the community.
