Events and Activities : Party in the Park Schedule

5 PM - FARMERS SAVINGS BANK & TRUST Community Picnic: Free hots dogs, chips & drinks served from the bank's parking lot (401 B Ave)

6:30 PM - KIDDIE PARADE: Let your imagination be your guide and dress up like your favorite character from days-gone-by. Decorate your bike, your stroller or your wagon. Kids in 5th grade and under are invited to participate and join the fun! (Line-up is at Farmers Savings Bank & Trust)

ACTIVITIES - Face painting, Balloon Creations, Carnival Games, Prizes & Inflatables on the Courthouse Lawn.

6:30 PM - TYLER SEAN ENTERTAINMENT will be our DJ and Emcee for the evening! Enjoy a mix of today's hits mixed with some classics for all ages!

6 PM - PARTY IN PINK 5K WALK/RUN: Hosted by: Survivors of Benton County & Virginia Gay Hospital. All proceeds from the race benefit GIFTS OF HOPE, a program created to provide mammograms to women who cannot afford them. Registrations accepted up to race time.

6:45 PM - The Vinton Community Band will once again be entertaining on Friday evening, at the Riverside band shell before the Schmidt Brothers Band.  The band is back and will be performing for Vinton crowds at Party in the Park, Famers Markets, and Lions 100th Anniversary later this summer. 

7 PM - SCHMIDT BROTHERS: Stephen, Sam and Gabe will perform your favorites from country, pop and their specialty…classic rock!

LONESOME ROAD: This band has opened for Alan Jackson, Joe Diffey, Charlie Daniels, Rascel Flatts, Emerson Drive, Little Texas and Restless Heart, to name a few! This group known as the "country band that likes to ROCK" is sure to bring the party! They cover artists from Jason Aldean to Luke Bryan, and Bon Jovi to Journey, with something for everyone!
