The annual kickoff to the Christmas season in Vinton will begin on Thursday, November 19, 2020 this year.

The 13th Annual Veterans Patriotic Christmas Parade will kick off at 6 p.m. that evening.

All local residents, businesses, organizations and churches are invited to join the event. (Please, no Santa, as he is already visiting and will arrive at the end of the parade.) Please decorate in a Christmas or Patriotic Theme!

Line-up begins at 5:30 p.m. east and south of Wesley United Methodist Church at the intersection of 6th Street and 2nd Ave. The parade route leads through downtown, ending at the courthouse, where Santa will arrive via fire truck to greet children.
