Events and Activities : VPRD plans special Valentine\'s events

Valentine’s Day will quickly be upon us and VPRD has a couple of different opportunities this coming Saturday to show those important people in your life how much you care about them!

At our Valentine’s Craft Day, kids will enjoy making some Valentine’s Day-themed craft projects followed by a delicious lunch. This event will take place at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center on Saturday, February 12th from 11 AM – 1 PM. The cost for this program is $12 per child and is open for anyone is grades K-4th.

Later that night, VPRD will be hosting its annual Daddy-Daughter Date Night for girls in grade K-6th. Come out with your daughter or granddaughter for an evening full of music, dancing, refreshments and fun! All girls will receive a flower and a picture taken with their date and dinner items at the dance will be available for purchase. The cost per couple is $10 and each additional daughter is $5. Registrations for both of these events after Tuesday, February 8th will incur a $3 late fee.

DODGEBALL FOR ADULTS

Attention Adults – if you are interested in getting a Dodgeball team together for our upcoming league, here’s your last opportunity for the year! Please contact Brad at the VPRD office by Thursday, February 10th if you are interested in registering a team. Cost for the league is $50.
