Events and Activities : Suicide Awareness Photo Shoot, Sunday March 15

There will be a Suicide Awareness Photo Shoot on Sunday, March 15, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at the Benton County Fairgrounds, located at 1702 2nd Ave. in Vinton.

Calling all middle schoolers and high schoolers who would like to be a part of a photoshoot representing Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Awareness Prevention.

Join us to show your love and support to each and every person we encounter by participating in a suicide awareness photo shoot.

Suicide is real, depression is real and our words are real. Just because no one likes to talk about it or is uncomfortable talking about it doesn't make it go away. Everyone feels differently, loves differently, reacts differently and that is okay because each and every one of us matters.

Let's use our words to put it out there that there is no shame in asking for help!
