Events and Activities : Stars over 70 Nominations Sought

The Wallace Winkie Foundation announces nominations now being accepted for Stars Over 70, a celebration of those individuals in the Belle Plaine area who are at least 70 years of age and contributing to their communities through volunteering, working, or serving as role models.

Nominations will be accepted through March 17 and can be made by anyone in the Belle Plaine area who would like to say thank you to mentors, volunteers, and people who've made their communities better places to live. The 2020 Stars will be introduced in May.

Nomination forms, along with more information on nomination criteria and events celebrating the Stars Over 70, will be on the foundation website (parkitvirtualmusuem.com) and our Facebook page. Nominators can also call 319-434-2079 for more information or assistance.
