Events and Activities : The Blackberry Bushes to Perform at Farmers Mercantile Hall in Garrison

The Blackberry Bushes will perform at Farmers Mercantile Hall in Garrison, on Sunday, October 14th from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Jes Raymond & Jakob Breitbach form the core of the Blackberry Bushes, featuring some great flatpicking, clawhammer banjo and virtuoso fiddle, along with some beautiful original music. The Blackberry Bushes are rounded out by a rotating cast of believers. Jakob tells us they will be joined by a hot young mandolin player from Iowa City for this show. The Bushes draw from the deep well of American Roots music for a modern sound that has a lighthearted rusticity, elegance, and soul.
