Events and Activities : Holiday Events planned for Vinton

It's never too early to start making plans for the Christmas season! As we did last year, Vinton Unlimited is partnering with our local merchants to help kick off the Christmas shopping season the right way! We've got some great activities planned in November and hope you will join us for all of them!

November 18

The 2nd Annual Lighted Holiday Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting will begin at 6:00pm. If you are interested in having a float in the parade, please be ready to line up at the corner of 2nd Avenue & 6th Street at 5:30pm. The parade will end at the Benton County Courthouse where we will light the Christmas Trees and Santa will be available for kids to visit.

November 21

Holiday Open House will take place around Vinton from 12 noon until 4 pm. Great family friendly activities will be happening around town with llamas & alpacas downtown and great deals throughout Vinton! Many stores will be open 7 days a week until Christmas to be sure you have time to do your Christmas shopping locally! Watch for extended shopping hours as we get closer to Christmas for those last minute deals!

Have someone who is hard to shop for? Think outside of the box this Christmas season! Get a Gift Certificate for a month of free coffee, sandwiches or groceries. Or give them a break on some of the essentials like a free oil change, discounted dental visit, or even an excercise class!
