The Benton County Conservation invites area residents to participate in two events this weekend. First, on Friday, June 9, a Full Moon Hike willbegin at 8 p.m. at the BC Conservation office at5718 20th Avenue Dr., Vinton. Participants are invited to "test out your night vision and learn more about our nocturnal friends that live at Rodgers Park." In case of bad weather, the staff will present an indoor nocturnal animals program. See the Full Moon Hike page HERE. Then on Saturday, June, 10, the 2nd Annual 2-person best shot golf tournament will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Vinton Country Club. Tee time is at 9:00AM.
