Events and Activities : VSMS Fine Arts night to feature singing, music displays

The annual VS Middle School Fine Arts Night will be Monday, May 15 at the Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School.

The all-school art show will be set-up in the student center featuring work from each middle school student. You may view the display from 5 pm to the completion of the concert. The students are instructed by Mrs. Kari Russler.

The Fine Arts Night Concert will begin at 7:00 in the middle school gymnasium. Each of the middle school bands and choirs will be performing. The groups are directed by Mrs. Jodi Bierschenk and Mrs. Lois Martin with assistant director, Ms. Michala Martin and accompanist Mrs. April Ahrenholz.

A wonderful variety of music will be presented to showcase the accomplishments of each group.

Plan to join us for a great evening celebrating our Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School students and their wonderful talents! Floor seating in chairs, balcony seating and the center section of bleachers will be available to the audience.

The concert is free of charge, but donations are always welcome! Concert revenue helps offset the cost of music, instruments and registration fees for our middle school musicians throughout the school year.
