Events and Activities : Teams preparing for VS Alumni Basketball Tourney

March Madness, Vinton-Shellsburg style, takes place on Saturday, March 25, when several teams will compete in the annual VS Alumni Basketball tourney. The participants include the 2000 team, as well as the undefeated WaMaC champs who went to State in 2013. The players invite all local VS fans and basketball lovers to join them as they try to prove who still has skills. The games begin at 1o a.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and free for children. Concessions will be available.
