Saturday, Oct. 23, is National Make a Difference Day, a day to honor the significance of volunteers in communities throughout the country.

To mark the occasion, the Benton County Volunteer Program is planning a community meal, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day, at the Vinton Presbyterian Church.

The menu will include turkey and dressing, potatoes and gravy, vegetable and dessert. A free will offering will be raceivbed.
