Upcoming events in Center Point in September will include the Friends of the Library MINION PARTY, 1-3 p.m. at Andersen Center Point Library community room. Kids-$7, adults-$3. Paid reservations due by Sept. 16. Send names, phone number and check to Friends, Box 54, Center Point, IA 52213. Or sign up at Library. Children must be accompanied by adult. September 11—Historical Society bake sale and outdoor band concert by Vinton Community Band, 6 p.m. at Depot Museum. Concert free. Bring your own lawnchair. Rain or shine.

September 18—Historical Society 6th annual Cemetery Walk at Center Point Cemetery at 4 p.m. (In case of rain, with projected photos at Depot Museum.) Admission $7. Arrange your own golf cart or bring your own lightweight chair if needed.
