To celebrate 60 years in conservation as well as the completion of our two yurts at Rodgers Park, Benton County Conservation is having an open house on Saturday, July 2nd, from 1-4 p.m. Light refreshments will be available and the public can tour Benton County Conservation’s newest amenities.
The staff has been working hard to get these rentable yurts ready for this camping season and they would like the public to get a chance to view the results of their hard work. These yurts are equipped with all the luxuries of home; refrigerator, stove, microwave, kitchen sink, heat and air-conditioning, ceiling fan, shower, toilet, separate bedroom with queen-sized bed, and a queen-sized sleeper-sofa.
Deputy Director, Scott Bahmann, will be on-hand to answer any questions and take your reservations for the season.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Scott Bahmann at 319-560-9803 or email Scott at sbahmann@bentoncountyparks.com
Rodgers park is located at 2113 57th Street Trail, Vinton, Iowa 52349
