Middle School Fine Arts Night will be held on Monday, May 16 at the Vinton-Shellsburg middle school.

The all-school art show will be set-up in the student center featuring work from each middle school student. You may view the display from 5 pm to the completion of the concert. The students are instructed by Mrs. Amy Sharar.

The Fine Arts Night Concert will begin at 7:00 in the middle school gymnasium. Each of the middle school choirs and bands will be performing. The groups are directed by Mrs. Jodi Bierschenk and Mrs. Lois Martin with assistant director, Ms. Michala Martin and accompanist Mrs. April Ahrenholz. The Schmidt brothers – Stephen, Sam and Gabe - will accompany the final songs of the evening with guitars and drums.

A varied program of music will be presented to showcase the accomplishments of each group.

Plan to join us for a great evening celebrating our Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School students and their wonderful talents! Floor seating in chairs, balcony seating and the center section of bleachers will be available to the audience.

The concert is free of charge, but donations are always welcome! Concert revenue helps offset the cost of music, instruments and registration fees for our middle school musicians throughout the school year.

Bring your friends and family to enjoy the talents of our middle school artists and performers!
