Events and Activities : Party in the Park to include Strait Run, Empty Pockets & Punching Pandas

Cedar Rapids magician Tim Stolba, the Des Moines-based Punching Pandas and the Chicago rock group Empty Pockets will join local band Strait Run and other acts for entertainment for the Party in the Park.

This is the 25th Annual Party in the Park, and the theme will be Celebrating the City of Lights. The event takes place Thursday-Saturday, June 23-25.

Like other years, the 2016 event will include the Kiddie Parade and courthouse activities on Thursday, and entertainment and fireworks Friday and Saturday at Riverside Park, as well as entertainment throughout the day on Saturday, and inflatables. More details will be coming soon.
