Flourishing Families of Benton and Iowa Counties is pleased to announce a free training open to anyone living or working in Benton or Iowa Counties.

Immersion 101 training, is an introduction to the four strategies of Community Partnerships: Shared Decision Making, Individualized Course of Action, Policy and Practice Change, and Neighborhood and Community Networking.

Participants will be able to answer the following questions: What is a “Community Partnership for Protecting Children (CPPC)” and why do we need this approach? How is CPPC being promoted in Iowa, other states and nationally? What are the four core strategies that make up the CPPC? What local assets can be used to build and promote a CPPC in our community?

They will also hear presentations, learn from discussions about each strategy, and leave able to share or present information on CPPC to the community.

This training will be held on Monday, May 9 from 8:30-4:00 at the Blairstown Community Center. This training is free and will include materials, discussion, and lunch.
