Events and Activities : Scout Troop 47 plans can/bottle drive April 9

Vinton Boy Scout Troop 47 will be holding a can and bottle drive this Saturday, 9 April at the Vinton Middle School parking lot. The event will occur rain or shine and will run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Please bring your empty bottles and cans – no waiting, no sorting, no counting; just drop them off and get on with your day. All proceeds will support the scouts’ camping and scholarship fund used to offset costs of summer camp, camping trips and high-adventure activities for kids in Vinton, Shellsburg, Garrison, Mount Auburn and surrounding areas.
