Events and Activities : Parent/Child Turkey Shoot Free-Throw Contest

Sunday, November 8th 2 PM at the Vinton Recreation Center Teams consisting of a parent and child will compete for their chance to win a turkey courtesy of Fareway in Vinton. There will be three divisions based on the combined age of the team members (44 & Below, 45-54, 55 & Up). Each parents and child in the team will shoot 15 free-throws with the total sum of baskets made being the final score. The winner of each division will get the turkey and even the non-winning families will have a chance to win if their name is selected in the drawing! The cost per team is only $1 so don’t be a turkey and join us for this family event!
