The Flourishing Families of Benton and Iowa Counties (FFBIC), a local Community Partnership for Protecting Children site, is hosting two opportunities in Benton County for parents, service providers, and community members to have their voice heard.

Family Talk is a community round table discussion through which we hope to learn what is going well for families and any barriers or obstacles they might be facing. FFBIC hopes to take these discussions to develop free family friendly events and make connections for families to services.

Family Talk will be held at the following dates and locations:

Vinton: Thursday, November 19 from 9:00-10:30 at the Wesley United Methodist Church located at 516 2nd Ave.

Belle Plaine: Tuesday, November 24th from 5:30-7:00 at the First Congregational Church located at 1400 8th Ave.

Refreshments will be provided at both sites and children are welcome.

Please help us to spread the word about this very important discussion. If you are unable to attend, but would still like to share your thoughts, please email us at flourishingfamiliesbentoniowa@gmail.com
