Events and Activities : Lighted Patriotic Christmas Parade set for Nov. 19

The Veteran’s Lighted PATRIOTIC Christmas Parade, will take place again this year in Vinton, just before the first arrival of Santa for the holiday season. Line up begins at 5:30 p.m.Thursday Evening, Nov. 19, east and south of the Methodist Church, on 6th Street and Second Avenue. The parade begins at 6. The VFW, American Legion and AMVETS organizations of Vinton are sponsoring the event.
If you’d like to “march” in the Parade, put a float in the Parade, or just come to watch, ALL are welcome!! (Please, no Santa, as he is already here from the North Pole)
Also, please USE a Christmas OR Patriotic theme!! Pease meet at 6th Street and 2nd Ave.by the Methodist Church at 5:45 P.M. After the Parade, Santa will arrive at the Benton County Courthouse
